I could go off and say that this is one of the main causes of problems in teenagers nowadays. I could say that the world identifies low-self esteem girls as the real issue. But then society goes on to encourage these same low self-esteem girls to wear clothing with the lowest neckline and the highest hemline possible. Even as they decry the treatment of women sexually by men, feminists encourage women to use sex as a tool to manipulate men. Simply said, society wants girls/women/females to believe that they are not just good for sex, but then pushes them to dress and act as if they were only good for sex. Hypocritical much? Others may say we are in an age of "sexual liberation" blah blah blah. Wait that reminds me, didn't the Roman empire experience "sexual liberation" then shortly thereafter crumbled? (The Romans realized this and tried to "fix" this, but it was too late. Not saying it was the only reason for their empire's downfall).
Seems to me, Islam and other conservative religions or conservative Christian denominations got this right. I could say all this, but I won't.~D. Cruz
